Cameras are not battery powered and totally without any wire. Each camera and nvr has a power supply with 10 feet and 4 feet power cord separately. The adapters are CE FCC UL certified.
This wireless security camera system is no audio, so doesnot support audio view, recording and playback.
No need to connect WiFi if only for local use, but if need remote view by app, a router is needed.
The WiFi range would reduce when occur obstacles, such as walls, so please place the NVR video recorder to the wireless cameras as close as possible. When the cameras are away from recorders, you can use an antenna extension, which included in the package.
Please install the wireless camera bracket first and then adjust its antenna.
