Headlight suppression (known as HSBLC) masks the bright white areas of an image making it easier to see every detail. Headlight suppression is perfect for applications such as license plate recognition. HSBLC works in conjunction with the built-in wide dynamic range (WDR) to digitally mask the headlights, reduce glare, and provide a better image of the license plate. True License Plate Recognition (LPR) cameras are able to isolate a license plate, capturing a clear and usable image of the plate regardless of lighting conditions. Used in conjunction with other cameras, they will capture this critical piece of evidence. Digital Day/Night – Digital day/night (also referred to as electronic day/night) improves low light sensitivity, delivers a sharper image in low light conditions, and enables the camera to see in the dark without the help of external IR illuminators.
