• Builtin Apple CarPlay and Android Auto features seamlessly integrate your smartphone with the SA102’s built-in display and controls. Now you can make phone calls, access your music, send and receive messages, get directions, and more while you stay focused on the road. To use Android Auto feature, you need to connect “park brake” wire of SA102 to your vehicle’s(if applicable), or Chasis Ground(-)/GND wire. Or Android Auto won’t allow you to proceed.
• More and more apps installed in your smartphone can be accessed on CarPlay /Android Auto based car stereo receivers. • The SA102 was first available for purchase on Amazon in early 2018. It has be upgraded since Dec,2018 for better pre-amplifier,handsfree performance. New ATOTO SA102 is covered by 18-month manufacturer warranty!
• Builtin Bluetooth not only work as Bluetooth handsfree, but as allow users to stream phone audio to SA102 via A2DP feature, and users can see music ID3 tag information. The phone signal level, as well as phone battery can be viewed on SA102. In addition, the ATOTO SA102 requires user to use factory/original USB Cable that comes with the phone for Android Auto / CarPlay connection. Non-manufacturer made USB cable may leads to connection issues such as black screen, or unstable connection.
• Users need to write to ATOTO support (support@myatoto.com) for firmware update to let builtin SiriusXM ready work with Sirius XM Tuner kit; though there is a SiriusXM ready/port at the back of the headunit, but no software supported for using this feature, unless special system firmware update from ATOTO is applied.
