The Rockwood 614V.4 cast brass door knocker has a built-in door viewer and a satin clear coated finish (ANSI/BHSM number US4/606). There is a space for engraving a name or number. The knocker with viewer meets American National Standards Institute (ANSI) A156.16 specifications. It measures 3″ high x 2-1/8″ wide x 0.45″ thick, and it includes two #8-32 x 2″ flathead machine screws and two #8 finish washers for attaching the knocker to standard 1-3/4″ thick doors.

Door viewers, also called peepholes, consist of a lens and cylinder which is inserted into a door, allowing a view outside. The amount of visibility is determined by the degree of the lens; the higher the number, the greater the visibility. Door viewers are sometimes incorporated with door knockers.
