Govee driveway alarm is designed for business welcome and home safety purpose. A big mall with various gates or small retail store may need the detectors to transmit rings when guests come in. For the home safety purpose, the driveway chime alert will alert you when someone is approaching your driveway/porch/gallery/garage door.
Other Usage:
The Driveway alert is also can used to monitor the elderly or child, who live separately or needs help.
Put the driveway alert to the mailbox door, the chime will work when you have mail in your box. No more walking out every hour to see if your mail is there.

Note:
The direct sunlight may cause false alarm occasionally.Otherwise, the transition from a cool night to sun and things warming up quickly are also causing false alarms. To avoid false alarms: Don’t mount the PIR sensor on direct sunlight spot(as moving heat sources would trigger the PIR) or in a location blowing wind frequently. When installing outside, it’s best to mount it at shaded location by your driveway, protected place with minimal changing temperatures. Also, avoiding mounting on UPVC or metal door frame surfaces which may reduce the transmission range.
